   I read a lot. I like to tell myself I'll remember certain lines in books that I really like. I never manage to do this. When I read Click, something happened: I remembered a line. Maybe it's just because I'm biased and had a huge crush on Kristopher at the time or maybe it's just because it was so good. Probably both.

   "i explore it, make sure everything's in order and put it on the pillow next to me, a gift to the tomorrow me."
   
   The idea of a 'tomorrow me' is completely reassuring to me and kind of restores my faith in myself that no matter how bad a day I've had, I'll wake up in the morning with a fresh self.

   I just lost what I wrote--anyway--I also love the idea of a "tomorrow me"Your right its such a comforting thought and true.---Tonight i just started to reread "Click"and really the story has a way of making you feel his feelings.I will add more lines to your thread later-

   "this is not good. it's stealing my clarity,slurring the awe. i'm forgetting who i am and becoming someone i don't want to be. again. i can't let that happen. shouldn't being who i am come easily? why do i feel like it's a constant struggle?

The plate glass storefront allows a perfect view of the teeming masses inside, arthritic fists in the air, raging at the racing screens hanging from cold wood panel walls. They build to a crescendo, crossing their finish lines, bitter profanities cut with the occassional smile." - vivid.
