   Do the upcoming anothologies for horror and romance have a prefered word count for the stories?

   There is no fixed limit - if somethings great, it's great regardless of word count. That said, anything over 10,000 would probably be on the long side. Ultimately, it'll be up to the individual editor for each anthology, though we're planning on having significantly less stories than FFTS had (46). This may mean there will be a slight preference for longer fiction over shorter, but again, quality will always win out.

   Thanks for the info, Kris. I am getting the sinking feeling that what I originally submitted was too short. I have another piece I have been working on that I think might be perfect for the romance anthology. Do you know the deadline for submissions for the romance anthology?
