Alsatian) police dog, called Rex, & his work with the homicide squad/ In a recent episode, Rex & his homocide squad detective side- kick are shown parachuting out of a small airplane over some nice, green hilly area of Austria. Shots of a GSD (if not Rex) dropping - tethered to a para- chutist - were quite realistic... but the dog didn't seem very scared by the situation. (Oh, we also had a police series - from USA - with a blind detective (previously shot in the line of duty) was working again, even equipped with a handgun, often in the company of a GSD seeing-eye-dog; but that dog wasn't as much the star as Rex is in his series.
